Once upon a time

Besides myths and legends in the cultural history of people, fairy tales give us the most lessons. They open the children’s eye on the world. They help to distinguish between right and wrong, nice and ugly, they admit only one truth in the confused morality of modern life. The good reap their reward, the bad get their deserved punishment.
Kings and princesses, dragons and witches, palaces and huts, woods, sky-high trees: seeing the well-known characters and places we keep on weaving the cloth of the story. These silk-paintings made with an individual technique are clear, bright and unambiguous. The tale-fragments, painted with closed lines, minor detailed decorations and sometimes loud colors awake our sleeping mood for tale telling, requesting upon us, wise grown-ups, the childish wisdom.
